​I’m ready to donate! How can I get my items to Clara’s Closet?
You can contact us at 541-921-0770 and arrange pick up or drop off.
Does it matter if it is boys’ or girls’ clothing?
Not at all! We need both! Gender neutral clothes are also perfect.
What size of baby clothes do you accept?
We accept sizes newborn to twelve months. We want the newborns to be able to start wearing or using the items immediately.
What are you including in your boxes that you would like donated?
We gladly accept the following new or gently used clothing and baby essentials:

​•Gift Cards (Target, Wal-Mart) to purchase much needed items
•Baby blankets
•Infant hats
•Socks/Booties
•Bibs
•Burp cloths
•0-12 month short sleeved onesies
•0-12 month long sleeved onesies
•0-12 month tops
•0-12 month bottoms
•0-12 month sleepers/PJs
•Age appropriate toys
•Age appropriate books
What types of baby books can be donated?
We welcome any age appropriate paper or hardback books in good condition.
Please: No chewed book covers or ripped pages!
Does Clara’s Closet need financial donations?
Yes! We rely on financial donations to help us cover the ongoing costs of running a not-for-profit organization. Clara’s Closet operates with very little overhead so that your donation goes directly to the families we serve.

Can I donate other baby items such as strollers, ExerSaucers, Pack’n’Plays, etc?
We hope to one day accept these items but we can not accept these items at this time.
How is Clara’s Closet better than just dropping it off at Goodwill?
Although Goodwill is an excellent organization, we are specifically targeting newborns whose families do not have the means to pay for additional clothing for their children and we are giving it to them in the hospital – no charge, no forms, no questions – just a nice little package and well wishes.
How can I get involved?
Spread the word! Forward this website! Get our website in your church newsletters! A friend of mine suggested that mothers and friends should have showers and the gifts brought be sent to Clara’s Closet so we can distribute them to babies in need. What a great suggestion! In the “contact us” section of the website there is a place to email Clara’s Closet (info@clarascloset.org) for more questions or feedback – if you have
suggestions, please send those too!
How will I know you have received my donation?
Unless you request us not to, we will provide a thank-you note after each donation. You should receive this correspondence within a few days of our receiving your support.
